About

About this site

These pages open the public court files of Alex Falconi, who founded Our Nevada Judges, the organization that films Nevada hearings and publishes its own verdicts on the people in them. The site is not his, is not connected to him or to Our Nevada Judges, Inc., and was not reviewed by either. It is published by a Nevada litigant whose sealed family case the organization decided to put on camera.

Standards: every factual statement is a quotation from, or a plain description of, a filed court document or a public post, and each is cited so it can be checked. Where a court made a finding, the court's words are quoted; where his own filings contradict the record, both are quoted. Opinion, where it appears, is marked as such. The minor child in his custody case is not named anywhere on this site, and the other parent is referred to only as the other parent, including inside quotations. No image is altered beyond a monochrome grade (black and white, or a single cool tone).

Corrections: if a quotation does not match the source document, the error will be corrected. This site does not accept submissions and does not publish anyone's contact details.

Copyright and notices

Court records are public documents and are quoted as such. Short excerpts of video published by Our Nevada Judges, Inc., and of public testimony before the Nevada Legislature, appear here in passages of a few seconds each, cut to the statement under discussion, with the full video linked at the time mark; photographs appear as their posters published them publicly, with the poster's own caption and a link to the post. They are reproduced for criticism and commentary on the public statements of a public figure who founded and runs an organization devoted to publishing other people's court proceedings, which is the use the fair-use provision of the Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. section 107) exists for. No excerpt substitutes for the original, and none is sold.

A notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act may be sent through the hosting provider's abuse reporting page, which forwards it to this site's publisher; notices that meet the statutory requirements are answered, and a counter-notice will be filed where the use is fair. A request to correct a quotation can be sent the same way.
